I consider this a great product.

The taste of our drinking water unfiltered makes it very clearly "city water", with myriad chemical flavors. The taste after going through the filter is absolutely pure and flavorless. It fills a five gallon jug in about 28 minutes in a home with a normal PSI.

As far as upkeep: Cleaning the sediment filter is a two minute process which you shouldn't have to do more than a few times a year. Other than that I've not done anything. Two years after purchasing it I'm doing my first replacement, replacing the original R/O membranes.

If you're looking for a filter I can't speak to the quality of the other ones but I'm very happy with this and would it again if required to remake the decision.
