 This kit consists of a solenoid valve w/ 1/2" Jaco style connectors, a transformer, a float switch w/ 8ft of wire, and the complete float kit, which includes a float valve and an ASO cartridge. When a 100% positive shut-off of the Merlin-Garden Pro is required this kit will allow you shut down the feed water when the float switch trips at your desired water level. Both the RO and drain water lines get totally shut down until the system requires the Merlin-Garden Pro to run again and top off the reservoir or tank. The float kit, with float valve, and automatic shut-off cartridge serves as the point of entry of the RO water into the tank or reservoirs and acts as a backup in case of power loss or electronic shut-off system failure.
